St. Patrick's Day Rainbow Cake for Dolls Craft

Another easy addition to your dolly St. Patrick's Day celebration is a St. Patrick's Day Rainbow Cake.  This is a simple craft that even the little ones can help out in making.  Also, the shape and colors can be changed to make a cake for pretty much any dolly celebration.

Items Needed:
-Shamrock pattern
-Rainbow color foam (ROY G BIB)
-Scissors
-Sharpie
-Tacky or Craft glue

Getting to Work:
Step 1:  Trace the shamrock pattern onto the foam.  Make one shamrock for each color of the rainbow or colors of your choice.
Step 2:  Cut the shamrocks out.
Step 3:  Line the shamrocks up on top of each other to create the cake.  I put mine in the order of the colors of the rainbow (ROY G BIB) but I added an extra green on top since it is for St. Patrick's Day.  Trim any edges as necessary.  (I always like to do a trial mock up before gluing.)
Step 4:  Use the Tacky or craft glue to glue the shamrocks on top of each other one by one.  Allow to dry completely before play.

Now, you have a St. Patrick's Day Rainbow cake for your dollies to enjoy.  The cake can be cut into slices carefully using scissors or a utility knife--Ask for parent permission or help if under 13.  I will be cutting our cake the day of our St. Patrick's Day dolly party.
