How to Make a Doll Wardrobe

Left:  Outside of Doll Wardrobe
Right :  Inside of Doll Wardrobe

How to Make a Doll Wardrobe:
Items Needed:
-Shoe Box with attached lid
-Duck Tape
-Fabric
-Packaging tape
-Plastic or wooden rod
-Hot Glue
-Scissors
-Cardboard

Getting to Work:
Step 1:  Prep shoe box by using packing tape and cardboard (cut to fit) to fill in and cover any holes in the box.
Step 2:  Cover fronts, sides and back of box in the colors and patterns of duck tape of your choice.  Be sure not to attach the opening front flap and sides to the rest of the box when covering in duck tape.
Step 3:  Line the inside back of the box and inside back of the front opening piece of the box with fabric using a hot glue gun to attach.
Step 4:  Line the inside side pieces and top and bottom pieces of the box with duck tape.
Step 5:  Measure and cut rod as needed to fit inside the box (this will be the clothing rod) and hot glue the ends to the inside sides of the box.
Step 6:  Allow to dry.  When dry, hand your clothing items (on hangers) on the rod.

Now you have your very own doll wardrobe!  This project was surprisingly quick and easy.  I think anyone age 6 and up (with parental help as needed) could make their very own personalized doll wardrobe!
